What's the difference between organic and organic certified!
watch out for the certified organic logo!
- One Group products formulated and manufactured in Queensland Australia since Jan 2003.
- First company in the world to have an extensive range of third party certified organic skin care and cosmetic range.
- One Group supports the David Suzuki foundation environmental movement.
- We genuinely do not test on animals. All synthetic ingredients are required by law to be tested on animals, if a company says they do not test on animals but they use synthetic ingredients they will have been tested on animals by someone, so this is a misleading statement.
- Skin is the largest living breathing organ you have. It is designed to breathe and expel toxins. We know scientifically the skin absorbs 66% of what is put on it. It has been shown that toxic chemicals accumulate in vitals organs such as the heart, lungs, liver etc. Medicine has proven the effectiveness of the skin to absorb what is put on it i.e. contraceptive, nicotine and morphine patch.
- NATURAL our definition and the dictionary definition of natural is existing in nature, not artificial.
- Cosmetic industry definition is any chemical which can be derived from a natural substance. You will often see chemicals listed on a label followed by the term ‘derived from coconut’, an example would be Cocamide DEA from coconut oil, which requires the addition of a synthetic chemical, a known carcinogen, in other words cancer causing, Diethanolomine –DEA to the coconut oil. It is therefore no longer natural or safe!
- Mashed potato for example. You’d feed children mashed potato, but would you give them Vodka? Of course not! Vodka can be derived from potatoes. Just because something can be derived from does not necessarily mean it’s good for you.
- ORGANIC some manufacturers use the chemistry definition of organic which is based around carbon atoms. For example Methyl Paraben has been listed on labels as an Organic Preservative. Methyl Paraben is derived from Petroleum which is a carbon based compound so using the chemistry definition of organic it is possible to claim that methyl paraben is an organic compound, very different from our understanding of organic which is the sustainable system of agriculture that uses only natural methods and practices and ingredients to create a healthy rich nutrient filled soil with which to grow organic fruit and vegetables without pesticides and herbicides.
- The only way to guarantee a product is Certified Organic is to look for the logo of the certifying body on the label of the product itself. Certification is an independent third party guarantee of an organic claim.
- Most companies produce products by adding synthetic toxic chemicals, some water and a few organic ingredients, what One Group have done is produce a range of certified organic products that have been certified by a third party and that’s what makes the difference.
- Our ingredients are not only certified organic they are truly natural ingredients.
- Our extracts are clean and potent and high vitality.
- We use 100% beneficial ingredients meaning that every single ingredient in every single product is beneficial to the skin.
- We use a unique bioactive cold formulation process meaning none of our essential fatty acids or precious essential oils and herbal extracts are subjected to any heat at all during formulation. Meaning we literally have bio available nutrients to feed our skin.
- We use a unique emulsion and preservative system which enables us to have certified organic ingredients without the use of synthetic chemicals or synthetic preservatives. In our opinion…the best Mother Nature can give!
